Charles P. Vieni is Chief Executive Officer and President of Vieni Associates, Inc., which he founded in April 2003. Vieni is a Professional Engineer and served for the previous 34 years as Resident Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation in Columbia County, responsible for all maintenance management, financial administration, and human resource management for the residency. He has also been a frequent speaker at DOT and industry events and training sessions.

Ken Swain is Safety Training Director for VAI. He is a safety engineer and a widely respected expert in all aspects of work-site safety. An OSHA-certified safety trainer, he is an outstanding resource for any organization needing safety improvements. His expertise includes all aspects of New York State standards, such as the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, Red Cross emergency management and first aid, and general workplace safety management.
Terry Vennard is Senior Training Director with Vieni Associates, Inc. A long-time veteran of the New York State Department of Transportation, Vennard has earned widespread respect for his in-depth knowledge of critical maintenance management operations, and for his skill and popularity as a trainer. Terry has been involved in handling many crisis situations throughout New York State, including 9/11, Hurricane Floyd, the Syracuse Wind Storm, and the North Country Ice Storm.

Margaret S. Howell is an architectural consultant whose knowledge of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) facilitates VAI's rapid preparation of precise construction documents. Her work with architectural firms Gantt Huberman Architects and Cerniglia and Swartz Architects has involved her in hospitals, administrative facilities, schools and urban mixed-use commercial facilities. Margaret holds a Masters in Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the School of Architecture and Planning at SUNY Buffalo.
